I thank you for the continuous customer focus emails I have received over the last couple of weeks since I made my initial phone call and then to enrolling. While I hope I never need to use my insurance, I truly hope the team will be there for me, should the time come – and again, I hope it never does.
With regards to ‘choosing’ your company over another, I am glad I received this email today because I had planned on sending a note anyway.
Sharing a little bit of the background…truthfully, I was searching for insurance as I had become a ‘Risk’ driver as I unfortunately had gotten 3 speeding tickets. My insurance company was supposed to be much less than others as I signed up through my workplace, and in addition to my vehicle policy, the company also had my husband and my house contents policies too. When I received the letter from them telling me they were not going to renew my policy as a result of the tickets, I panicked, and thought I was not going to be able to drive. I began researching including my own existing company who told me my insurance was going to be something like $12K a year………….What!!!!
It was after speaking to a broker who told me about a much better rate (the same as yours) but at the end of the conversation he told me I would have a ‘one time’ signing fee of about $400 – I said No Thank you, and directly turned to the computer, typed in the words ‘Cheap Insurance Toronto’ and your company came up. Here is what made me choose you….
The website looked ‘legit’ – it was clear, concise, nothing was popping up in front of me, no spectacular stories about how great and how much everyone in the world saves – just good and honest-looking, basic info. I almost didn’t call as I was deemed a RISK Driver so I didn’t think your company would handle someone like me – but because the site looked ‘approachable’ – I decided to go for it. Then the Deal Sealer was Morgan Roberts, who answered the phone!!!
She is awesome!! She made me feel welcome and OK with my situation. She told me you have those companies who handle Risk Drivers and she was more than glad to help – but so important to know – she was real!! Hats off to Morgan.
The only thing I would say (I am about to send Morgan a note on this) is – the amounts of insurance to be taken. I may have misunderstood, but I have just received the paperwork for my partner and it turns out 3 payments will be taken from the account when I was told it would be a double payment – so I believe it is accurate to take 3 just because of the coverage period – but that little item perhaps could have been better explained – OR – maybe Morgan didn’t know this – which is why I will speak with her.
Once again, I hope all goes well with my experience with your company, and I thank you for taking me on. I am really not a bad driver, the speeding tickets have reasons – I am not just a speeder (lol) I am sure you’ve heard that before. Anyway Morgan should get a raise – maybe a promotion too!!!
