The Job

As a CSR in training, you’ll start out as part of our support team, learning our various insurance partners’ systems and rules, as well as learning to underwrite personal lines auto and property policies. (Don’t worry, you don’t need to know insurance. That’s what the training is for 😉) During this training period you will also work with our sales and service team and communicate with our insurance partners to resolve underwriting issues or questions.

Once you’re comfortable with all of our software and have gone through RIBO training (RIBO is the regulatory body for our industry), you’ll move into the CSR role and join the retention team, supporting and helping to retain our existing customers with your passion for exceptional customer service, and bringing the WOW factor to all interactions. As part of the retention team you’ll communicate with our customers in an open, helpful and engaging way, and focus on finding the best solution for each customer.

You’ll work with our customers via phone, chat, email and text, to answer questions, make changes, review renewals, cross-sell, update files, assist with billing changes and other stuff we can’t think of right now.

All this while embracing digital innovation, meeting all performance targets and living our mission “To make insurance not suck!”

You’ll work with our customers using multiple channels, such as phone, chat, email and text, to answer questions, make changes, review renewals, cross-sell, update files, assist with billing changes and all other inquires.

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience (doesn’t have to be insurance)

Details

Monday to Friday, 10 – 6 and occasional Saturdays

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000 to $40,000 /year
