This is an exciting opportunity as we are building a new marketing team. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will implement, craft, monitor, and evaluate all marketing communications strategies and initiatives including innovative marketing campaigns and public relations in support brand and marketing objectives across a variety of new product and service offerings. You will be responsible for the delivery of new B2B and B2C brand, marketing, customer experience and communication strategies and initiatives. You will audit, assess and redefine all our marketing, communications and customer experience practices and deploy bold and innovative, tactical and strategic campaigns and initiatives with support from the CMO. You with further assess all other marketing processes using performance indicator metrics and recommend or redesign processes and procedures for continuous improvement. You are known for your passion and creative problem-solving skills.
How You’ll Bring Impact
Working closely with the CMO, develop and oversee the national brand, marketing and communications strategy.
Support the strategic development and implementation of integrated marketing and communications campaigns through an aligned brand and marketing channel mix.
Conduct market and customer research and analyse competitor positioning to drive innovation for new customer (B2C) and partner (B2B) experiences and campaigns.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop our marketing and brand strategy – pulling together competitor, business, product and user insights and translating them into competitively differentiated consumer messages and experiences.
Measure and assess marketing effectiveness and deliver regular reporting back to CMO and business stakeholders.
Lead, build, coach, and manage a new and high performing marketing team.
Build an environment of compassion, respect and integrity within the marketing team and help build a climate of amazing employee relations and experiences across all peer groups and teams.
Leverage customer insights and analytics to support SEO and paid media strategy to help drive customer acquisition and retention rates across all channels including social, search, display and emerging digital channels.
Work with CEO to develop a new brand and product strategy for a new family of brands, products, services, new website and SAAS launches.
Take the lead on delivering awards and achievements both internally and externally. Craft messaging for various channels such as press releases, social media, executive thought leadership, events and more.
Manage and mentor team members to support overall objectives of marketing and communications team.
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or combination of related education and experience.
5+ years of well-rounded marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility – Insurance experience preferred.
3+ years of experience in managing a high performing team including leadership and direction of a marketing team and marketing partners and vendors.
Knowledge of marketing principles, brand, events, product and campaign management, social and digital marketing, with an acknowledged track record of success and performance.
Experience building and leading dynamic marketing teams to deliver exceptional brand, performance, operations and B2B and B2C experiences.
Analytical but also creative, open-minded, you have a growth mindset and are unafraid to try new things
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
