We go all the way back to 1948 and we’ve spent most of that time as a small family run brokerage. In 2010 we started to digitize our business and set our sights and goals on becoming the best brokerage in Canada. This position requires a customer focused individual that is a driven self-starter, highly organized, high attention to detail with a positive attitude. You will need to be comfortable working by phone, email, smart phone and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description

  • Help us build out an awesome commercial department
  • Embrace the digital progression of the business
  • Help your team build the best customer service experience possible and Wow the customer with every interaction
  • Customer service and support for our commercial clients and prospects
  • Able to prepare appropriate documentation, completing applications for new and existing customers, and issuing insurance certificates
  • Advising on commercial insurance matters and recommending appropriate coverage
  • Submitting and following up on claims
  • Contacting underwriters to discuss and negotiate policy terms for purposes of quotations, renewal and endorsements
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of company underwriting guidelines
  • Cross sell and upsell current customers
  • Support Commercial Producers
  • Maintain customer-centric approach while assisting the team in attaining all performance targets
