This is an exciting opportunity as we are building a new team. You possess minimally a 10+ years of related senior-level marketing experience. We are seeking a visionary Chief Marketing Officer who is equally analytical and creative, with knowledge in a variety of disciplines including brand, communications, customer experience, technology, digital services, SAAS and who is inspired by and understands new marketing trends. You understand how to develop and lead digital-first, omni-channel distribution and innovation strategy. You are comfortable creating innovative solutions to complex problems and bring a personal drive and passion to help us reach our ambitious growth target in a highly competitive landscape.
How You’ll Bring Impact
Plan, implement and oversee all marketing and advertising campaigns.
Define and develop new brand propositions across each of our emerging service areas and products.
Define and deliver a multi-brand marketing strategy aligned to the new brand propositions.
Deliver bold and innovative marketing campaigns and content aligned to the new brand propositions.
Develop and lead a strategy for external and public relations that align to business strategy to promote new brand and service value propositions.
Lead consistent and inspirational internal and external communications.
Lead the social media and overall content marketing strategy.
Support sales and service leadership to meet business targets.
Conduct market and customer research and analyse competitor positioning.
Support and contribute leadership to new business development initiatives.
Lead and develop a new customer experience across our service platforms.
Implement continuous improvement plans for existing marketing operational processes.
Set marketing goals and objectives.
Plan, implement and manage the brand, communications and marketing strategy.
Contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Develop the annual marketing plan and strategy and determine KPIs for the marketing department.
Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions on plans.
Develop lead and retention strategies for prospective and existing customers.
Grow and develop a high-performing in-house marketing team.
Mentor staff with the goal of retention and development.
Leverage your network of reliable external agencies, media and marketing professionals.
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or combination of related education and experience.
5+ years of well-rounded marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility – Insurance experience preferred.
3+ years of experience in managing a high performing team including leadership and direction of a marketing team and marketing partners and vendors.
Knowledge of marketing principles, brand, events, product and campaign management, social and digital marketing, with an acknowledged track record of success and performance.
Experience building and leading dynamic marketing teams to deliver exceptional brand, performance, operations and B2B and B2C experiences.
Analytical but also creative, open-minded, you have a growth mindset and are unafraid to try new things
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
